How can I know what my home is worth?

Nobody should be guessing in the dark, that's why I offer a complimentary Comparative Market Analysis here! By comparing your local market with listed, sold, and pending properties similar to yours with the resources available to me, I can create an estimate of how much you can get back from your property, no guessing involved!

What's my first step to home buying?

First you'll need to know how it'll be paid for. If you will be using a lender, I recommend finding a few you trust and learning about their types of loans and programs available. Once you choose one, first real step is getting pre-qualified for a loan, so you know what price range you're ready to shop in! Now you're ready for a REALTOR® to take you the rest of the way!

What does the word equity mean?

Equity is how much of something you truly own. For a house, it’s the home’s value minus what you still owe.

Example: 

If you have a loan for $100,000, owe $50,000 left on it, and the home is worth $150,000, your equity is $100,000.

 

 

Do I need an agent to sell my home?

Short answer, you do not have to have one. However, according to NAR, over the course of a recent year's survey, there was an average price difference of agent-listed and for sale by owner (FSBO) of 18%! They also claim 43%  of FSBO admitted to making legal mistakes, 30% struggled to price the home, and 64% did not achieve their sales price! Representation in real estate can make a huge difference!
